New Testing Agency, Exam Schedule Announced For NEET 2019

NEET 2019 Application Form – NTA will release NEET 2019 Application Form for February exam on 1 October 2018. Candidates will get a 31 days window to apply online. The application form for NTA NEET 2019 Feb exam can be submitted from 1 to 31 October 2018. The application fee is Rs 1400 for general/OBC and Rs 750 for SC/ST. Filling of NEET 2019 application form as well as paying the fee is in online mode. Check the eligibility criteria before applying. Why is NEET 2019 Application Form releasing two times?
This is because the NEET exam will be held twice a year. Earlier, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) used to hold NEET, and AIPMT before that once a year. Now a new organization named as National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold NEET 2019. NTA will release NEET 2019 Application Form separately for February and May exams. Candidates should apply for respective exams as per their choice and eligibility.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2018

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized Board; candidates from NIOS Board are eligible - Gap year between Class 11 and 12 is permitted.
Preparation
The NTA would benefit the students and they would have the option of going to computer centres from August-end to practice for the exams. The tests would be computer-based. The exams would be held over a span of four-five days and students would have the option of choosing the dates, the minister said.
Syllabus
The syllabus, question formats, language and fees for the NEET, JEE Main and NET exams would not be changed. The timetable of the exams to be conducted by NTA would be uploaded on the ministry's website.
